100th Post Delicious Yummy Badam Halwa - Mouth-watering Almond Halwa - Diwali Festival Sweet Recipe

Badam Halwa is one of my favorite sweet recipes and so I am posting this as my 100th post. Try this easy to make Sweet recipe and enjoy.

Ingredients for making Badam Halwa

Badam (almond) - 1 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Ghee - 1/4 cup
Saffron - few strings
Cardamom Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
lemon yellow colour - little
Almond essence - two to three drops

Method for making yummy Badam Halwa

1. Soak the almonds in warm water overnight and peel the skin. Grind this to a coarse paste using little milk.

2. Take a heavy bottommed vessel and melt the ghee, transfer this to another vessel.

3. Boil 1/4 cup of water and add the suagar and wait till the sugar melts.

4. Switch off the flame and now add the ground badam-milk paste,lemon yellow color, saffron, almond essence, mix well and cook on medium flame stirring continuously.

5. As soon as it starts thickening add the melted ghee and cook stirring continuously on low flame.

6. Switch off when the halwa starts leaving the sides of the pan.

Now the delicious mouth-watering Badam Halwa is ready to be served for your loved ones.
