Spicy Coconut Garlic Chutney - Coconut Chutney for South Indian Breakfasts - Traditional Thick Coconut-Garlic Chutney

Coconut Garlic Combo Chutney is one of the delicious and easy to make Tamilnadu Traditional chutney, which goes well with idli, dosa, vada, adai, upma,etc. The garlic taste in the chutney makes it something really different. Try this spicy yummy coconut garlic chutney and enjoy.



Ingredients for making Coconut Garlic Chutney


Grated coconut - 1 cup
Green chillies - 4
Garlic - 2 pods
Tamarind - small ball-sized
Salt as required.

For Seasoning
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp.
Urad dhal - 1 tsp.
A sprig of curry leaves.

Method for making Coconut Garlic Chutney

Grind all the ingredients given in the list by adding little water. Do not add more water because this chutney should have a thick consistency. After grinding season this with the ingredients given under seasoning.

Now Coconut Garlic Chutney is ready to be served with any South Indian Tiffin varieties.
