Delicious Paneer Gulab Jamun - Gulab Jamuns using Panner, A Yummy Diwali Sweet Recipe

Paneer Gulab Jamuns are one of the delicious mouth-watering sweet recipe, which can be made within an hour. Paneer jamuns are made using the same ingredients for Gulab Jamun it differs only in the addition of grated paneer and just look like small cottage cheese balls and tastes great. Ingredients for making Paneer Gulab Jamun

Maida - 1 cup
Grated paneer - 1/2 cup
A pinch of baking powder
Almonds for garnishing
Sugar - 2 cups
Water - 4 cups
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp.
Oil for deep frying.

Method for making Paneer Gulab Jamun

1. Mix the maida, grated paneer, baking powder together in a large bowl, add little water and knead to a smooth and soft dough.

2. Allow this to stand for about 10 - 15 minutes.

3. Now make small balls out of the dough and deep fry till golden brown in oil. Always cook in a medium flame.

4. Meanwhile for the sugar syrup, boil the sugar, water and cardamom powder in a heavy bottomed sauce pan, and stir continuously till it becomes sticky of one string consistency.

5. Add the fried jamuns to the hot sugar syrup and soak this for 2 to 4 hours.

Garnish this with chopped almonds. Now the paneer Gulab Jamuns are ready to be served.
