Cashewnut Halwa / Cashew Burfi / Kaju Burfi - Easy to make Diwali Sweet Recipes

Cashew Halwa one of the delicious and mouth-watering Indian sweet recipe which is easy to make and has good calorific value. The richness of cashews blended with sugar and ghee makes this very yummy. Try this cashew halwa for this Diwali and enjoy.


Ingredients for making Cashew Halwa
Cashewnuts (powdered) - 1 cup
Maida - 1 cup
Sugar - 4 cups
Ghee - 2 cups

Method for making Cashew Halwa
Fry the Maida in a pan. Dry grind the cashwnuts to a fine powder. Add the sugar in heavy bottomed vessel and melt this by adding little water. Then add the powdered cashews to this followed by the ghee and maida little by little. Stir well and so that there are no lumps. When the contents leave the sides of the vessel you just transfer this to a greased plate. Allow this to cool and cut to your desired shapes.
Now the cashew halwa is ready.
