Rava - 1 cup
Onion - 1
Green chillies - 2
Ginger - finely chopped
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp.
Urad dal - 1 tsp.
A sprig of curry leaves
Salt to taste.

How to make Wheat Rava Uttapam

1. Cut the onions, ginger  and green chillies into fine pieces.

2. Mix the whole wheat flour and Rava with enough water to make a dosa batter consistency.

3. Heat oil in a kadai, add the mustard seeds and allow this to splutter, add urad dal, finely chopped onions, green chillies, ginger, and curry leaves and sauté well.

4. Add this to the batter and mix well. If the batter is too thick you can add water.

5. Heat the non-stick dosa tawa and pour the batter in the center ,  spread this lightly so that it does not become thin and it should be thick in the  form of uttapam.  Cook both sides of the uttapam by flipping over.

6. Remove this uttapam from the tawa serve hot with chutney.
